Anyone who has lagg in the game and suspects its your modem

I went from .56 Mb/s and a ping of 544 to this.



What I did was called my Isp and they reset your modem.
Then you follow a few steps to "PowerCycle"
1 Shut down your computer
2 Unplug the router from the electrical outlet. (If u have a router)
3 Leave the router unplugged
4 Then, unplug the cable modem or dsl modem from the electrical outlet.
5 Leave the cable or dsl modem unplugged for at least 10 seconds.
6 Plug the cable modem back into the electrical outlet and allow about 30 seconds to initialize before plugging in the router if you have one.
7 Then, plug in the router and allow to load
8 Lastly, turn your computer back on.

This is how you powercycle and enhance your wireless connection and hopfully can help fix your lagg in game.
